Happy Birthday Haughmond!
The Haughmond is one year old...
Amazingly we have just passed our first year birthday on 11th April 2015! Our birthday however came and went without much fuss, although the locals from Upton Magna and surrounding villages all came in to celebrate the rebirth of their village local to an establishment now recognised for quality food, beer wine, accommodation and environment which have been rewarded with new award in the last few weeks (details can be announced soon!). We are very pleased with our achievements in year one and have many plans to improve and regenerate the site further within the next twelve months. Our new kitchen extension is fully operational and the garden is relandscaped and already witnessing al fresco dining! The team are all getting ready for the summer months... so bring on that summer weather!

The Village Store
Cyclists, Walkers and Dog Walkers are amongst the many who are starting to use The Village Store at The Haughmond. We now stock exclusive range of Hereford Ice Creams from The Kelsmor Dairy aswell as fresh bread, Shropshire cheese, artisan crackers, fresh fruit & vegetables to name a few...

Cornets and tubs will be extending Cream Sundaes and Smoothies aswell as fresh Paninis and sanwichesmade to order in May, ordered direct from the store for local delivery or collection. Function Venue & New Basils Restaurant...
After many months of drawings, planning, prospecting and dreaming we have at last started the creation of our function room which will hold approximately 60 people in the barn at the bottom of the car park. The building will also house a new 'Basils Restaurant' on a mezzanine floor. We are very excited to be able to offer individual bespoke weddings, christenings, special events, parties and corporate events from July 2015.
