Report: Big Alcohol Lobbying Against Marketing Regulations Analyzed

In this study, the researchers used thematic analysis to examine submission from the Australian alcohol industry, based on a system previously developed in relation to tobacco industry corporate political activity.

The results show that submissions were a direct lobbying tactic, making claims to government that were contrary to the evidence-base... 

 

Ireland: Concerns Over Alcohol Industry Lobbying

An analysis of the lobby register, maintained by the Standards in Public Office Commission in the country, gives reason for concern over heavy lobbying by the alcohol industry against the Alcohol (Health) Bill.
