Plenary - The future belongs to those who prepare for it today

The Plenary session to open the Forum will be a discussion of the changing IP profession.  Speakers will include Mr. Yo Takagi, Assistant Director General of WIPO, Mr. Günter Hubert, Deputy Head of Patent Department, German Patent and Trade Mark Office and Mr. Alan Kasper who will discuss the voice of users in plural office initiatives such as the IP5.   Mr. Kasper will explain what future changes are likely and the consultative role of users in future policy and practice development.

The Plenary session will be moderated by Coleen Morrison.

Session 2.3 - Leading a Team of IP Professionals

The speakers in Session 2.3 will share their anecdotes, examples, and experiences about law firm leadership. This session will take the form of a facilitated conversation in which members of the audience will have the opportunity to participate actively in the discussion and learn from the experiences of their colleagues.
