Work Day opportunities for Volunteers – Fall 2012 
Please join us for any, or all of these work days

Take this opportunity to get together and have some fun with other members of the Thames
Talbot Land Trust and their families and do some practical, hands-on conservation. 

Sunday, September 23:  10 am – 1 pm  
 Joany's Woods  
Autumn Olive removal & trail maintenance.  
Bring loppers if you can. 

Sunday, September 30:  10 am – 1 pm  
Meadowlily Nature Preserve 
Shrub removal.  Bring loppers if you can. 

Saturday, October 13:  1 -4 pm 
Newport Forest 
Autumn Olive removal. Bring loppers if you can. 

Saturday October 14:  10 am – 1 pm  
Five Points Forest 
Buckthorn removal.  Bring loppers and shovel if you can. 

Sunday, October 21:  10 am – 1 pm
Joany’s Woods 
Autumn Olive removal.  Bring loppers if you can. 

Saturday, November 10:  10 am – 1 pm 
 Wardsville Woods Garbage removal.
 
Bring plenty of water and your own snacks. Dress for the weather
conditions and the work: you will need strong shoes or boots, work 
gloves, and long pants Certified chainsaw operators  wanted and welcome at all shrub removal events!
