SPECIAL ISSUE: Letter to Tulane, Open Internships, Walk-Out Today

Editors’ Note

Dear Readers,

In the special issue, we invite Tulane community members (staff, faculty, students, parents, alums, and community partners) to read and sign a letter to the Tulane administration requesting that they respond to the Dobbs decision by affirming their commitment to reproductive rights and answering pressing questions about how they will support women, girls, and other people who can become pregnant.

Sign using a form at the bottom of the letter and feel free to circulate widely.

In addition, we wanted to announce that the application is live for open positions in Newcomb Institute's Reproductive Rights and Reproductive Health Internship program. It will close on August 3rd at 12pm. Please apply and share with interested students.

Also, in case you haven't heard yet, the temporary restraining order s is back in effect, meaning that clinics might be performing abortions.

Finally, see below for resources, including info about a walk-out today at 4pm

Sincerely,

Kelsey Lain, School of Science and Engineering, Class of 2023
Clare Daniel, Ph.D., Newcomb Institute, Tulane University
Aliyah Daniels, ReproNews co-founder, Class of 2018
