SPECIAL ISSUE: Roe Overturned, a Correction and an Invitation
Editors’ Note
Dear Readers,
In the special issue that we sent out on Friday, we omitted Women with a Vision from our list of organizations to support in Louisiana. This was a serious oversight, given WWAV's long history as Louisiana's only Black-led reproductive justice organization. We sincerely apologize for this mistake and have added WWAV to the list below. We will also profile their work in our regularly-scheduled July newsletter.
Louisiana-based organizations to follow and support:
We are also reaching out to say that Newcomb Institute and Tulane's Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion have put out a statement about the end of Roe and have invited the Tulane community and partners to a collective processing event: "Making Sense of a Post-Roe Louisiana." See details below.
We hope you can join us.
Sincerely,
Kelsey Lain, School of Science and Engineering, Class of 2023
Clare Daniel, Ph.D., Newcomb Institute, Tulane University
Aliyah Daniels, ReproNews co-founder, Class of 2018
