Content for the win | Vol. 3, No. 12 

I recently learned about a productivity hack favored by Warren Buffet.

The Oracle of Omaha asks that you list 25 things you most want to accomplish in life. When you complete the list, he then asks that you circle the five most important items. These five, he decrees are the only five things you can address going forward. The other 20 items are now your "Avoid At All Costs" list.

It may sound simple, but it is not simple at all. This is a ruthless method with laser-like focus its goal. Personally, my mind likes to wander and I love to dream. Also, as a creative professional working in advertising, it is my job to "throw lots of ideas at the white board." Be that as it may, the world's greatest investor isn't a man of excuses. When you achieve success with your top five, you can move on to the rest, five at a time, he advises. 

Applying this focus to the businesses we help run also makes sense. Bonehook can't be all things to all people. Our task is to be the best at the one thing we're known for—moving people with brand narratives. Same for your business. Tighten the lens. Develop better outcomes.
