Leading by Story

We tell stories; we live in stories; we lead by story. The social sciences have taken a 'narrative turn' which offers new ways of thinking about how we work together.  

With David Sims, who has worked in a senior leadership role while researching, teaching and writing about leadership.

A day to discover a theology of art that might broaden the scope of theology itself, and transform the way  works of art are analysed.  

With Charles Pickstone, a visiting scholar at Sarum and Trustee of Art & Christianity.

Poetry and the Psalms

Explore ancient texts transplanted in the work of Herbert and Vaughan as well as their later flourishing in poetry from the 18th century to the present day.

With Edward Clarke, the author of Eighteen Psalms.

Sexuality and Spirituality

An academic examination of the interface between sexuality and spirituality considering the historical, theological and psychological context.

With Karen O'Donnell, Centre Coordinator and Programme Leader for the MA in Christian Spirituality, and Guest Lecturers.

Working Together

This module uses a hermeneutical approach grounded in the Holy Trinity and examined through a number of traditions to encourage constructive engagement. 

With Tim Harle, Centre Coordinator for Sarum Centre for Leadership Learning, and Programme Leader for the MA in Christian Approaches to Leadership, and Guest Lecturers.

Dementia: Who Cares for the Carers?

A day to hear carers' stories and reflect on their needs for practical and spiritual support.
