JUNE MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEAR -

There is lots of debate on which month is the best, but if I had to pick one month for the rest of my life it would probably be June. There are tons of options in June, rivers are all in shape, bug hatches are at their peak, weather is typically comfortable... it's just tough to beat in my opinion and the reason why we are finally getting the fishing updates out. Guilty.

Currently, things are well ahead of schedule. What does that mean? Go fishing now! The NF Coeur d'Alene is hanging in there still. While it's very low for June it's still been putting out some fish. Mostly smaller fellas, but still good action. The St. Joe has been kicking ass this month. Great golden stone fly activity with other bugs thrown in there like green drakes, pmd's, caddis and yellow sallies. The Clark Fork near St. Regis is in great shape and fishing pretty decent. Foam patterns and caddis are on the menu as usual here. The Spokane River has been fishing well early and late. Luckily we have aquifer recharge to help out our low water situation, so-far so-good. Nymph rigs of course have been the ticket, however, we have been fishing some chernobyls and small pink hoppers with caddis behind them and finding fish on the surface even mid day.

There's lots of water to choose from right now so get after it.

Thanks for your support!
