Welcome! from your DEI Committee
co-chairs

Welcome to our new Course X monthly newsletter on our continued work addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) both inside our department and outside in our broader community.  We are very excited to announce this newsletter as a part of our ongoing communication of activities and strategic plans for the department.

Each month, one of our members of the DEI committee will offer a short commentary or introduction like this one in this space.  The newsletter will also highlight one of our amazing programs and their efforts in working towards equitable experiences for all members of our department (present and future)!  Finally, the newsletter will also provide a resource to connect you with upcoming events that may be of interest—both inside and out of the department.

We believe that there are so many impactful efforts already happening in our community that we want to bring awareness to in these newsletters and help you identify new ways to engage and think about how we are working together for our common goals.

Your DEI Committee Co-chairs,
Sharece Corner and Chris Love
