Message from the E.D.

On September 21st, we celebrated a decade and a half of serving the health needs of underserved adults in our community. We were joined by more than 100 people - longtime supporters and new friends - who will all hold a place in our hearts.

Our volunteers have contributed more than 77,000 hours of their time since we opened our doors. And our donors have made certain that our operating budget - which is funded entirely by donations from the community - has always met the needs of keeping those doors open. We are grateful to each and every person who has been a part of our mission since 2001. And I can assure you that the 61,200 patients who have visited our clinic are equally grateful for the health in which you have gifted them and their families.

As I leave HealthLink, I am proud to have worked with you for six and a half years as Executive Director. HealthLink could not fulfill its mission without you. Thanks for all you do to provide dental care for our underserved neighbors.

On September 21st, we celebrated our 15th Anniversary with a Cocktail Party. Dean Amid Ismail (Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University) was awarded the Eugene Jackson Humanitarian Award. Click here to read more about the evening's activities and see photos from the event!

Our next BOWL-A-THON Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, February 4th from 3-6pm at Thunderbird Lanes (Warminster). Sponsorship opportunities are available, and donations are needed! For more information, click here.

HealthLink has expanded the free services available to eligible patients on-site to now include both root canals and crowns. Root canals are performed by students from the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, and staff dentists provide crowns to patients to ensure that patient's teeth are preserved.
