We are ecstatic to announce you can come climbing from Saturday 13th June!
To make sure we are as safe as possible, things will be quite different. Please read the Being Covid-Safe page of our website before you come in so you know what to expect.
Make sure you stay home if you are not feeling 100% well.
Liquid Chalk - What's the story?
We are banning loose chalk and encouraging the use of liquid chalk. This is because loose chalk gets mixed with the particles on your hands and then spreads through the gym and could potentially act as a mechanism for viruses to spread. Liquid chalk is much less likely to spread.
Liquid chalk also contains a high proportion of alcohol which may assist in killing any germs on your hands. It is important to note that liquid chalk should NOT replace regular hand-washing and the use of hand sanitiser. If you want to know why, read this article.
Mountainfilm on Tour
While we can't pop into the cinema to watch this year's Mountainfilm on Tour, it is available to rent and watch at home.
It's a good way to get inspired. Watch the trailer here.
Gyms are looking good!
Our gym managers have been making great use of our climber-free time to clean, paint, route-set, and carry out maintenance.
Dudley Crag Development
The Covid shutdown has given local climbing legend (and Pulse Climbing Adamstown Manager) Jason Piper a bit more time to play near home. As a result, the Dudley crag now boasts 15 new routes. Thanks Jase!
If you've been following us on Instagram or Facebook, you would have seen some pictures and videos of the new routes.
