  • In front of the Kootenai Sheriff Office between 12-2pm
  • Bring signs, flags, smiles, and energy to publicly show the sheriff that we support his constitutional focus.

We need to show Constitutional support.

Don't forget about the Sheriff Norris rally today at 12pm! Bring your signs, bring your smiling faces, bring all that energy to show him, his agency, and our community that his actions SHOULD and WILL be supported by the people. This rally is in direct response to Sheriff Norris' announcement on January 12th stating that he nor his deputies will enforce the unconstitutional mask mandate. We are always quick to admonish behavior that we find despicable (hello! Christie Wood!), but it's time to start applauding those actions which we find ourselves agreeable.

"It is not law enforcement’s job to get between you, your health and your doctor. Period. Enforcing criminal sanctions on otherwise law-abiding people goes against the fundamental principles of the U.S. and Idaho Constitutions." ~Sheriff Norris

We also need to show the world that those leaders who stand up for our Constitution that they have the full support of the community they lead. There's a lot of pressure that can and probably will come down on our county because our sheriff is standing up for what's right. Not only can federal alphabet agencies try to crush those that work outside of set federal parameters (even if those parameters go against our Constitution), some more local influential people can try to use their community pull to circumvent those Constitutional leaders. This has happened many times before in other communities  so we know that if the person standing up feels like they're all alone on an island trying to push back against The Man, it's easy to cave into those pressures.

Not here. We are showing today how much we appreciate our sheriff and I hope to see you down there at Noon!
