Hi <<First Name>>,

Happy New Year to you and wishing you a great 2016! With the start of the new year the iNetwork IAPS programme has a lot of events and offers in the pipeline. This is a summary list of what's in this month's update; you can click on any of the links below to be taken directly to the news item. Regards,

New Website

With the start of the new year, iNetwork has launched a new website. Be sure to keep up to date with our latest news, developments and events by checking it out.

Our new site is a vast improvement on our old one, but it's still a work in progress. The work of the Innovative Access to Public Services programme will be easier to find on the new site, and we will eventually host resources on the site.

Constructive feedback on its usability would be more than welcome.
Drop Jill a line if you think there is any way we could improve it.

A Rubbish Event

The IAPS programme board discussed the idea of holding a round table event to bring delegates from customer services and environmental services together to exchange best practice in recycling and waste collection. We talked about looking at lessons learned with regards to: upgrading to real time vehicle tracking systems; integrated waste and recycling management software; moving to three-weekly bin collections etc.

The programme board would like to gauge the level of interest in an event like this and to find out if there are any angles of interest in particular that delegates would like to see as part of a 'Rubbish' event. If there is enough interest, we will set up this event as a round-table session. Please contact Shelley to express an interest (with no commitment to attend at this point).

Group Facilitation Training Skills

Exclusive to iNetwork members, ICA:UK are offering courses at their discounted rate for their upcoming Group Facilitation Methods and Action Planning courses in Manchester.

ICA:UK is a non-profit and charitable organisation dedicated to helping people implement participatory and consensus-based models in their work. iNetwork staff are all trained in ICA:UK's group facilitation methods. The training has supported iNetwork to facilitate round-table events, consensus workshops and action planning meetings.

To claim your discounted rate at band B rates, call Clare at ICA:UK on 0161 2328444. Please quote iNETWORK when making your booking.

Hybrid Mail & Reducing Mail Volumes

Alex from  Warrington Council is currently looking into hybrid mail solutions. Are you using hybrid mail in your organisation? If so, would you be willing to share what solution you are using and how you are using it? Also, Alex would be very interested to hear about activities that people have done to reduce mail volumes. If you think you can help, please contact Alex via Shelley

CRM Specification

Do you have a CRM spec that you have developed and/or used recently that you would be willing to share? Wirral Council would be grateful for any help in this area. Please contact Phil at Wirral Council via Shelley.
Have a question that you would like to put to the wider community? Feel free to send me your questions to be included in next month's news update, or why not post your question on the iNetwork Linkedin group message board?
