European Training Course in Radiation Research: InterRAD (Interdisciplinary Radiation Research)
The course is addressed to students/postdocs/researchers. It will take place at BfS on 20-31 January 2020. The first week is mainly composed of lectures. The second week is dedicated to experimental work in various techniques used in radiation biology such as cytogenetics including mFISH, gammaH2AX- and Comet-analyses and proteomics as well as a session on statistics to evaluate experimental data. The course is funded by CONCERT. There are no course fees and accomodation id free. There will be a special lecture on environmental radioactivity and other environmental measurements on the highest mountain in Germany, the Zugspitze, in the laboratories of the Helmholtz Zentrum München. Please, download the flyer

CONCERT Course on "Radiation Epidemiology, Dosimetry and Radiation Protection Concepts of ICRP”
This course is jointly organized by the Helmholtz Zentrum München and the Technical University of Munich, Germany, and the University of Salzburg, Austria, under the umbrella of the ‘CONCERT-European Joint Programme for the Integration of Radiation Protection Research’ under Horizon 2020. The course will take place from Jan 7 to Jan 17, 2020, in Neuherberg, Germany, and in Salzburg, Austria. More details will be added here.
We are a network of more than of more than 70 European institutions (Voting Members) and 560 scientists (Associate Members). We promote research and development and European cooperation in the field of the dosimetry of ionizing radiation.
