IM2020: Deadline for abstract submission
News from the Radiation Protection Research Platforms
There are less than 230 days left until the opening of the IM2020 Conference to be held in Budapest from 19-24 April 2020. Professionals and young researchers are still encouraged to participate and present their work related to all aspects of individual monitoring of ionising radiation. It is kindly reminded that the deadline of abstract submission for both oral and poster presentation is 30 September 2019

An initiative from Japan Ministry of Environment and QST
The Ministry of Environment of Japan and the National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology have published a BOOKLET to Provide Basic Information Regarding Health Effects of Radiation. It is structured in the following chapters:

Conferences and courses
The 1st Meeting of the International Society for Radiation Epidemiology and Dosimetry
The International Society for Radiation Epidemiology and Dosimetry is being set-up to bring together radiation researchers – mainly epidemiologists and dosimetrists – with the aim of discussing new results of studies of radiation effects in humans, providing training opportunities for the next generation of epidemiologists, statisticians, and dosimetrists, and promoting international collaborations in radiation research.
This new Society will organize its first meeting on 5 to 8 May 2020 in the town of Sitges (Spain). The 1st Announcement can be downloaded here.
