Intercomparison of measuring instruments used in non-governmental networks (MINN) under the Preparedness project - Two places still available!
This intercomparison campaign will be organized at PTB Braunschweig (Germany) on 3-7 June 2019 by VINS, ENEA, NPL and PTB. It will use the unique PTB facilities like: the underground laboratory (UDO II) with extremely low background radiation level for testing device inherent background; the lake platform where the sensitivity of the MINN to secondary cosmic radiation will be quantified; the plume simulator – machine automatically operating different types of radioactive sources (Cs-137, Co-60, Ra-226) outside the building to generate dose rates on top of the natural background.
