Notes from Our Director:

Are you interested in helping to support the library and raise funds for the library's programs and services? Join the Friends of Castleton Public Library! The Friends of CPL are currently recruiting new members. The support the library receives from the Friends of CPL makes many of our programs and services possible. In addition to providing funding for our summer reading program and our museum pass program, the Friends also coordinate family-friendly events, volunteer, and raise money to donate to the library for materials and equipment. If you are interested in learning more about the Friends, please consider attending the Friends of CPL meeting at the library on Wednesday, March 16, at 7:00 p.m., or send a message to friendsofcastletonlibrary@yahoo.com.

Speaking of the Friends of CPL, the Friends' annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser is coming up! Save the date for Saturday, April 9 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at Applebee's Restaurant, 594 N. Troy Road, Rensselaer, NY 12144. Enjoy a breakfast of 3 pancakes, 2 slices of bacon, and unlimited beverages for only $6.00 per person. You can buy tickets at the library starting March 1.
