Green Drinks is a global network of rotating gatherings, bringing together people interested and involved in a variety of environmental, conservation, and sustainability issues. Get to know Green Drinks Newport! Bike Newport is happy to host this month's event in our offices at 437 Broadway. Join us tonight, October 2, as Green Drinks honors Rachel Lessne, owner of Green Envy Eco Boutique. International Walk & Bike to School Day
Wednesday, October 8th

All over the globe, students will strap on their sneakers and helmets to join the healthy movement to walk or bike to school on October 8th - and every day! As part of the national Safe Routes to School initiative, Bike Newport will be at Thompson Middle School before school on Oct. 8th to launch our biking and walking incentive program. We'll also register bikes and hand out prizes for those who walk or bike that day. Let's encourage our kids to get active, reduce their environmental impact, and start the day with a healthy walk or ride. If your little ones are too young to walk or ride alone, make it a family affair!
