Shoreline Bikeway Special Event
(and other news)
Thursday, December 6, 2012 6:00 - 8:00 pm at CCRI Newport
Please join Aquidneck Island Planning Commission (AIPC) and Bike Newport for an exciting evening with Carl Knoch of the Rail Trail Conservancy. Carl brings a national perspective and striking visual commentary on successful Rail with Trail projects.
This event is the second Bike Forum in a series of educational forums designed to create interest in and support for the Shoreline Bikeway along Narragansett Bay.
The Bikeway will be a recreational trail running parallel to the existing rail tracks on Aquidneck's west side. When complete, the trail will include two bridge connections, to create a 60-mile trail network.
