Tonight, Monday, at 6pm: Fixing the Future
at Jane Pickens Theater.
Hosted by David Brancaccio of NPRâ€™s Marketplace and PBSâ€™s NOW, the film examines people and organizations across America that are attempting the reinvention of the American economy. Followed by a panel of local social innovators.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 8-9am: Bike Newport Monthly Community Meeting at Empire Tea and Coffee. Focus Topic â€“ Newport Roads, for better or worse. Registering and reporting questions and requests.

Our rides are somewhat leisurely and no one gets left behind. You should be skilled to ride with traffic and able to handle hills and distances. Bring water, snack, spare tube. Helmets required. Rides end with local refreshment.
Saturday, Sept. 14: Bike Newport Group Ride: meet at 8:45am for a 9:00 departure. Rambling ride around the Ocean Drive, Fort Adams, Gooseneck Cove, Bellevue, Salve and across to Middletownâ€™s beaches, farms and neighborhoods. Helmets required.

Star Ride 13

This family-friendly ride begins and ends at the Cluny School
, and includes four route options â€“ 3, 7, 12 and 25 miles.
4 Bridges Ride
, to benefit AIPCâ€™s Bikeway Plan
. This 26-mile ride will begin in North Kingstown and end at Roger Williams University in Bristol, and crosses the Jamestown Verrazzano, Newport Pell, Sakonnet and Mount Hope bridges. For experienced riders.
