The New Mexico Gay Men’s Chorus proudly presents the New Mexico premiere of I Am Harvey Milk. This oratorio with words and music by Tony and Grammy nominated composer, Andrew Lippa, will be presented Thursday, March 21 at the Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe and on Sunday, March 24 at V. Sue Cleveland Concert Hall in Rio Rancho.

I Am Harvey Milk weaves the story of Milk’s life – from boyhood to his rise as the first openly gay man to hold public office in California to his assassination. Part choral work, part theater piece, I Am Harvey Milk is an emotional celebration of an American icon.
