A Message from Max Siegel

Dear USATF Stakeholders,

USATF last weekend [October 24] hosted a meeting in Indianapolis to discuss several proposed changes to our governing laws. These changes will most assuredly directly affect our current organizational structure and may have the unintended consequence of impacting USATF’s viability as a business entity in the marketplace of sports and entertainment. Because the annual meeting does not provide ample time to sufficiently discuss and collaborate on solutions the advance meeting was held to build consensus in advance of the 2015 USATF Annual Meeting. Attached please find a 1-page summary of the discussion points and the sentiments expressed during the meeting.

We will update you as we continue to make progress on these important topics. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Best Regards,

Max Siegel
CEO, USATF

Official’s Business Cards and USATF Branding

Because Officials are a critical part of the National Governing Body, USATF would like to ensure that all USATF Officials have the most recent information regarding our branding standards. It enhances the Officials’ experience to have the most professional, fully branded USATF look.

Just over a year ago, USATF launched a set of new brand guidelines that helped migrate USA Track & Field to USATF. This full rebranding is a process that continues, including properly branded business cards for Officials.

Any USATF Official wishing to order business cards should contact Scott Rose (esrose@roadrunner.com) for the file. The layout is as shown, with the option to customize the personal information you wish to display, such as name, address, email or phone.

Any and all promotional documents include the USATF Certified Officials logo as shown on the business cards. Please remember, all projects must be sent as a proof to the Brand Manager, Chelsey Chang (chelsey.chang@usatf.org), for review before production. Please do not hesitate to email Chelsey if any questions come up.

Thank you for your dedication to the sport!

Chelsey Chang
Brand Manager, USATF
