The No Evil Project turns one year old tomorrow and thanks to you, it's been an amazing start. The website launched in the spring, and with everyone's enthusiasm, by the summer we were being invited to take photographs at events. This winter, thanks to your support and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, a year-long installation at the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts
opened featuring the first 250 participants. We had a great turnout for the opening reception and it was fun seeing so many of you again. If you're near Worcester, MA and haven't seen the exhibit yet, be sure to check it out.
Having a huge mural of everyone was the big pie in the sky idea for the project... and we did that in only a matter of months! To me that sounds like the beginning, not the culmination, of the project.
So what's next?
Several colleges and other groups are already interested in having exhibits, and my goal is to continue to get more diverse audiences to participate and keep expanding and spreading the message of the project. You can help by getting your friends to participate or at least follow the Facebook
feeds, encouraging places you're affiliated with to have or sponsor an exhibit
, making a tax-deductible donation
to support the project, writing or talking about the project to any celebrities you may happen to know, whatever you can think of. Got an idea? Let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Let's see what we can do in 2012 to show the world that anyone can do good, no matter who they are!
