Coastal Fund is gearing up for our next round of funding in 2016!

The first El Niño storm of the year has given Santa Barbara a much needed drenching - - additionally it's served as a reminder to get prepared and stay grateful for all that's to come in the new year!  

If you or your organization is seeking funding for a project this winter, keep in mind our major funding deadline for this season as it approaches this Friday, January 15th.  For all minor funding (under $1000) proposals should be submitted by February 19th.  We are very excited to meet with you all to discover what amazing projects are in store!

Winter Funding Deadlines:


Major Funding (over $1000): January 15th 
Minor Funding (under $1000): February 19th

A Word from The Coastal Service Program:


Looking for other ways to raise money for your organization while still giving back to the community?  The Coastal Service Program at Coastal Fund invites you to participate in a beach or street cleanup for $100 or work on an ecological restoration project for $200. It’s an easy and fun way to fundraise, while contributing to the enhancement of this beautiful place we call home!

The available dates for winter quarter have been posted online and outside the Coastal Fund office on the second floor of the MCC. Come by, choose two potential dates that are ideal for your group, and fill out a participation form to sign your organization up!  If the office is closed, feel free to leave the form in the black box mounted on the wall outside.
