A weekly dose of inspirational stories about women in tech
Each issue will include stories about women in tech who are doing amazing and inspiring work. It will also include tips, advice and resources on coding for those who are just getting started.

I hope you had a great week.

🎉 First, thank you so much for voting for Diversify Tech for Product Hunt's award earlier this week. I appreciate it. I'm super excited to share that it got the award for Diversity Product of the Year!

😑 Unfortunately, due to this really long government shutdown, I've haven't been able to get back to work. I'm trying to make the most of it and focusing on Diversify Tech.

✍️ I'm trying to write more. Blog posts seem daunting to me so I'm writing short Twitter threads. I'll work my way up to a blog post eventually. Here is a thread on why I try even when I know I can fail. (plot twist: I didn't understand how the award worked. I did get the award. You'll know what I mean once you read 😊)

I'd love to hear about what you are working on as well as any feedback about the newsletter. Feel free to reply and let me know what you think!

"Pro tip: if you have bad gut feelings or see red flags during an interview process, you should not rationalize them away and think maybe it will be fine. It will not be fine. Trust your gut and run away." - Ian Coldwater, DevOps Engineer [Read more]
