Hi,

Someone asked me the other day, how I'm able to do everything. How do I work, maintain several newsletters, work on startup ideas, and be a mom? Well, I didn't realize I was giving the impression that I am doing it all.

Here is a small glimpse of my life. Once I started work after my maternity leave, I became so overwhelmed with everything that I asked my mom to come help. She stayed with us for 3 months and helped take care of our baby.

After she left, I took some time off of work to get my business ventures to a good point. Even with the time off, I haven't been able to do everything I wanted to. My daughter started day care, went for 4 days at the end of October and became sick. She was home for most of November. I had to reduce the scope of what I wanted to finish.

Also, I've been working part-time for a few years as I work on building a business. As much as I'd like to think that I'm a superwoman. No, I can't do it all ☺️. I'm sharing this to say that please don't put pressure on yourself by comparing yourself to others. We all have our own goals, timelines, and things happening in out lives. Set deadlines and priorities that make sense to your unique situation. Don't get caught up in the hustle ❤️.

In other news, if you are looking for a job in tech, please do share your information here. I haven't had a chance to promote everyone on Diversify Tech yet. But, the word is spreading and recruiters are looking at it!

Happy Coding!
