Hello,

The past few weeks have been tough for a lot of us with what's happening in the US. I don't really have any advice to give as I am struggling with it myself. Just sending hugs to you all. 💜

👩‍💻 Over 100 Women In Tech Shared Their Projects. I was trying to positively distract myself last week. I asked the community to reply with links to their work and their stories last week. I am so inspired by all of the amazing things that they are working on. Here are a few highlights. Feel free to respond as well!

🌷Jennifer shared her really great repository of self-care resources for developers & others. I need to adapt some of these tips. Take a look.

🚀 I'm participating in the Just f*ing ship it in 30 days Challenge with 100 other makers. I am putting together a collection of resources for underrepresented people in tech. You can follow my progress here if you are interested. It's been scary to work on something in public but at the same time it's been fun to have a supportive community to work along with. It's free to join and it's not too late. You can set your own pace and work on whatever you'd like. Here are the details.

😍 Also, have you seen Vogue & Code's Culture Kids Sticker Pack?

I'd love to hear about what you are working on as well as any feedback about the newsletter. Feel free to reply and let me know what you think!

Cheers,
@venikunche

Words of Wisdom: Advice from Women in Tech 🙏

"1. Frameworks are better than answers. 2. Do what you’re good at not what you love. 3. Decisions are not permanent and do not define you. 4. Adopt a growth mindset, develop your self-awareness. 5. Leverage the power of communities and mentors. 6. Be your biggest fan." - Abadesi Osunsade,  Founder of Hustle Crew, Co-Founder of NonTechTech and Techish podcast and as part of the Product Hunt/AngelList team. [Read more]
