Commonwealth governments urged to acknowledge the benefit of music to Society

Young musicians assembled in Mount Lavinia (Sri Lanka) for a FIM seminar on Nov. 12, 2013 adopted a unanimous declaration urging Commonwealth heads of governments to acknowledge the benefit of Music to society.

An enthusiast group a of young musicians from Commonwealth countries took part in a seminar on the rights and interests of professional musicians, organised in Mount Lavinia (Sri Lanka) with a support from the BMU (British Musicians Union) and PPL, in the framework of the “Commonwealth Resounds”.
