As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world...
May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
 John 17:18, 23 (NIV).
Northminster Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
God is with us!  And we are with you, joining our hearts with you as we pray fervently for protection, healing and God’s peace in our anxious community and world.

How can we help you?
We are here with you, in offering Christ’s compassion and grace, in any way we possibly can! If you have a prayer request to share, you can send an email, or call us at 520-327-7121.

A pastoral care line, 520-261-9370, is available to you. Text or call for pastoral care and support or prayer requests.

The world around us seems to change by the hour with coronavirus COVID-19 developments, along with public health orders regarding social gatherings. With that in mind and because Northminster is committed to promoting the safety, health, and well being of our community, our physical gatherings and worship will likely remain closed through April.

Worship at Home!
A message from Pastor Ken:

"This Sunday I will be preaching on Jesus giving sight to two blind men who are sitting on the side of the road. The passage is Matthew 20:29-34. Take a look at it, post a thought, a question and/or something that sticks out to you and I'll try to share thoughts and answer as many as I can as the services are streamed this Sunday. Note: depending on the number of submissions, I may not be able to respond to all. I'm praying for all of you, stay well and safe."

Join us for online worship with live streaming at 8:00 and 9:30am and a rebroadcast of the 8:00am service at 11:00am. Join us at OR at The recording of these services will also continue to be available all week at

You can download the YouVersion Bible app to view digital versions of our worship materials on Sunday mornings, and links to bulletins and sermon notes will also be posted in our live streams.

Community Assistance
We continue to offer community help through our Caridad meal service Monday nights, 5:30-6:30pm, Prayer Garden Entrance, and our Tuesday morning Deacon Pantry, 9:00-11:00am, South Parking Lot, both on an outdoor grab-and-go basis.

Deacons Pantry Update: Last week our Deacons gave out 57 bags of groceries to people in need on a drive up grab-and-go basis.  They have expressed a desperate need for toilet paper, pasta sauce, chicken noodle soup and pinto beans. Even a couple of cans of something or 1 package of TP would be helpful. If you are able to bring items by the church, the office is open between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm (3:00pm on Fridays). If you would prefer, we have folks willing to pick up items from your home. You can make arrangements by contacting the Church Office, 520-327-7121.

How you can help
Pray!  Please pray for our congregation, our community and our world—for God’s healing health and abounding peace. Pray for the many in the medical field who are bravely providing relief and seeking research. Pray for our governmental leaders and for wisdom in guiding us. Pray for the many who are out and about in our community, driving trucks with supplies, working at grocery stores to keep us fed, and so many more.

Holy Week & Easter  - we are planning to host online services. Please mark your calendar and save the dates below. We'll send details soon.
Palm Sunday - April 5 | 8, 9:30 & 11am
Maundy Thursday - April 9 | 7pm
Easter | April 12 | 8, 9:30 & 11am

Let's continue to join our hearts as we pray fervently for protection, healing and God’s peace in our anxious community and world. We love you and are praying for you. Let us know how else we can be of assistance. Be encouraged that this is a special opportunity to care for those around you, your neighbors, your loved ones, our church family and the broader community. Now is the time we can really shine our light of encouragement and pass the peace of Christ—that passes understanding—to one another.  And so …

God be with you!  Go and live and serve,

In Christ’s peace,

Andy Ross
