JHSC Camps, Comps & Summer Highlights...
Hello JHSC friends, families and supporters!
I hope you're enjoying this beautiful Jackson Hole summer. Contrary to popular belief, we don't take the summer off (as fun as that sounds!). Take a peek below to find out what we've got going on during these short summer months and into the early fall.
JHSC 4th of July Parade Float
Thanks to everyone who was part of JHSC's first ever (as far as we know) Independence Day parade float. We had roller skiers, skateboarders, t-shirt tossers, coaches, staff, two dogs and even a surprise appearance by Chewbacca! Check out JHSC's Facebook page
for more photos
from the parade. Can't wait to do it again next year!

During the summer months the Nordic program shifts it's training focus for junior athletes to establishing an overall and well rounded athletic fitness program. Maintaining a team environment and building camaraderie throughout the summer strengthens the team and keeps athletes connected with the sport. Click here

Freeride Program (FRP)
FRP athletes are busy this summer with camps in California, Oregon and Argentina. The FRP is also beginning to raise funds for an on-site storage shed at Snow King. This building will help to free up valuable space in the current tuning room for benches, coat racks and additional shelving. This storage unit will also be a place to store other JHSC items. The cost will be around $10,000. If you'd like to help make this project a reality, please contact Freeride Program Director Rob LaPier: email@example.com.
Last but not least...
We are extremely excited to be welcoming Brian Krill
to JHSC as our new Executive Director on August 1st. Brian has already been working remotely with our board of directors on his transition and the search for our next alpine program director. More details to come soon!
We would like to bid a fond farewell to Bridger Call, Alpine Program Director of nine years and Mike Hammer, Interim Executive Director. Thanks to both of you for your hard work and dedication to JHSC! I'd say "we'll miss you," but something tells me, we'll still be seeing both of you around the Club in the future.
Until next time, stay active, have fun and try not to get road rage.
