Letter from the Editor.
Howdy everyone! If you haven't heard yet, it's snowing on the East Coast. This newsletter is based on the West Coast but by gosh and by golly, we have reporters all over this continent bringing you the freshest news like a snowball to the face.
I may have prematurely announced the beginning of winter in my previous newsletter. Truth is, it was just the beginning of Christmastime which certainly feels like winter to me. But lo and behold, the solstice is just around the corner. When I was hanging out at Machu Picchu one May, I was confused about why everyone was talking about the winter solstice. Do you ever forget the southern hemisphere is flipped? I sure do. If you are reading this south of that great equatorial divide, happy summer solstice!
Overall this week, I am still reeling from the new Taylor Swift album announcement and subsequent album release. I just didn't see it coming. I'm hoping it's a trilogy because who has ever heard of a two-album thing? Okay, a lot of people have done two-album things but she's got more quarantine left to write more. I'm not holding my breath but at the same time I am holding my breath.
