Letter from the Editor.

I know you're trying hard to hide the shocked look on your face. Yes, I've revamped this well-established and consistently designed newsletter. 2020 will not let a day go by without a surprise. I guess if you truly hate it, you can unsubscribe below. Unfortunately, Mailchimp does not require you to send cookies before you disown me.

On a heavier note, Alex Trebek passed away this past week. That man was a legend. He was one of the smartest, kindest, and wittiest men on television.

On a lighter note, the NBA is coming back!

On an even lighter note, the Portland IKEA finally restocked their LINDBYN mirrors. I've been waiting for what feels like years (but was actually just like two weeks or something).

How do they build bridges?
Yeah, okay I know how they build bridges (trusses and stuff) but how do they build bridges? It seems like something of an Old Testament feat to stop water from flowing over a particular section of river/lake/sea long enough to put a bridge pillar in the ground. And they seem to keep making bridges as if it is easy. Really makes you think.

REVIEWS
Flagrant Magazine
Speaking of basketball, Flagrant magazine is it. Basketball, journalism, and art living in one magazine? It's dangerously perfect. I am so passionate about Flagrant, I even wrote a persuasive email to my fav comedian urging them to purchase an issue. Flagrant is put out by local Portland women. What more can I say? Pre-order the second issue NOW.
I Am Bison Puzzle
Up until now, I haven't negatively reviewed a single thing in this newsletter. I Am Bison once seemed like a fun novelty puzzle because it is shaped like a Bison head, but it isn't fun at all. It is the hardest task I have attempted. This is the only jigsaw I have started and not completed. Every piece of this brown puzzle could fit in multiple places and look like it fits. Poorly made. 1/5 stars.
Down Comforter
I live in a 60° basement so it was time to get feathered. I sleep under feathers every night and love it. Down comforters are simultaneously heavy and light. I love it. My cat hates it.
