HWBIDCo exists to make the town centre work better for business.  This could be supporting local businesses directly or it could be addressing issues in the town cente that will encourage greater footfall and visitors to stay longer.    We have an eclectic mix of things this week.
do any of your staff need first aid training?
If you have more than five employees then you have a statutory obligation to have at least one person trained in first aid.

We have five spaces left on our next one-day First Aid at Work course, with extra AED (de-fib) bolt-on.  Places for BID Area businesses are subsidised by 75% by HWBIDCo.

Course date: Friday 12th August 2016
Course cost: £32.50 (inclusive of VAT) per person

do you know anyone who would take our business incubator space at Enterprise HQ?
HWBIDCo plays an active role in reducing commercial vacancy in the town centre.
  1. Share our guide for new small businesses in taking on a commercial property;
  2. Tell a friend that we still have space available this year in our business incubator space on a short-term license to occupy to new businesses or business start-ups;
have you watched what Lily Mae's Play Cafe said about our business incubator space?

are you thinking about training for either yourself or your employees?
HWBIDCo spends a good deal of time thinking about marketing content and how this can reach different audiences.
  1. Would your business benefit from some social media training?
  2. Is your business interested in putting together social media video content?
  3. Would your business be interested in getting involved in a promotional initiative in Hi Magazine (maybe with promotional vouchers)?
