HIGH WYCOMBE TOWN CENTRE

from HWBIDCo Ltd
HWBIDCo is working with Wycombe District Council to make sure you are kept informed and consulted on locally important issues.  We have also been busy training employees in town.
Business Breakfast 14 March @ 7.30am
This meeting is specifically for businesses in High Wycombe.  This is your chance to catch up on the latest discussions about options for unitary authorities in Buckinghamshire and other changes in the modernisation of Local Government.  It is also your chance to come up-to-speed on Business Rates Revaluation.  Do you know whether your rates are changing and do you understand terms such as transitional relief?

Do you, a colleague, an employee or a customer/client park in West End Street car park?
Buckinghamshire County Council and Wycombe District Council want to make you aware that the arrangement of the Desborough Road / Bridge Street junction is changing very soon.

For the new junction to work safely and effectively, vehicular access to and from West End Road via Desborough Road will no longer be permitted and the junction will be closed permanently from Friday 17th March 2017.

Existing access to residents, traders and the Desborough Road car park, owned by Wycombe District Council, will be maintained via the West End Road junction with West End Street. Please see the plan above for the new access routes. We will be making people aware via signs in the car park to inform users of this change. We will also be putting up signs/distributing leaflets to residents/traders shortly.

Businesses meet their Safeguarding requirements with our training
HWBIDCo recently worked with Allied International Risk Limited, locally, to respond to the needs of local businesses in addressing their requirements to upskill staff on Safeguarding.  HWBIDCo provided a Level 2 Award in Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults at Risk for delegates from five businesses.  This training is subsidised by HWBIDCo and is ideal for charities and other businesses who may work with some of the groups above.
