***UPDATE: This event will take place March 13***

The Oregon Conference is doing a virtual Fundraiser called "Giving for Our Kids" to which you are each invited!
For The Kids!
This celebration features kids from all of our Oregon Conference schools. They’ll be singing, explaining, performing, and being kids during a 1-hour extravaganza. You will love it - especially the parents of the kids and any grandparents in the room.

During the program, we'll experience a special premiere performance of ‘The Blessing’ by Oregon Conference students, performing with pastor and recording artist Zach Parks.

Why are we doing this?
The student scholarship fund is depleted and in desperate need of support, and kids learn best when they’re “up front.”

They’re OUR KIDS and they need to hear us cheering for them!
(Yes, there will be ways for the kids to hear you cheer during the program!)

Join the program on the Oregon Conference YouTube or Facebook channels.
Sabbath, February 13 at 6 PM.
*** On Facebook, search Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the event will be broadcast from there. The YouTube channel it will be broadcast from is Oregon Adventist.
MAPs testing scores will be sent home with students this Friday, February 26th! Please let your child's teacher know if you have any questions, concerns, or would like any clarification.

Loma Linda Labels for Project Money
In the past there have been programs that help our school earn money. One of them was with our veggie food labels. This program has changed several times. There is now a new program for Loma Linda Food Labels that would help the school with an upcoming project or two. I would love to have a volunteer coordinator for this. Please see the button below for an article about the program. Please reach out to Megan if you are interested in being in charge of helping with this program.

We are excited to be producing a yearbook this year for our students. Each of our teachers have put in an amazing effort to serve our families, and we would love some additional help with our yearbook. It is a digital program that we are using, and would truly appreciate the assistance in getting the yearbook put together. Please reach out to Megan Hall if you are interested in helping.

Paid Positions

Rivergate is seeking a part time hourly maintenance staff member who is multi-skilled, detail oriented, a self starter, and willing to learn. We currently contract on an "as-needed" basis to a very qualified maintenance person with a wide variety of skills, but are seeking someone who can keep regular hours at our facility. If you are interested in the position please contact Megan Hall.

Rivergate has had a long-standing tradition of an incredible full time office staff member. This year we made the hard choice to move away from full time staff due to our enrollment numbers. As we have increased our enrollment from 72 to 89 we are seeking a part time office staff member for the remainder of the school year, as well as the summer. We are looking for someone friendly who can multitask, and is willing to learn. Please contact Megan Hall if you are interested in the position.
Loma Linda Food Labels
Dear Families,

I hope that each of you are doing well after our interesting winter weather. We were very glad to have students back with us on Friday. Our winter events will not affect our school year calendar. If you have further questions about this please feel free to email or call me.

As you are all aware, your student worked very hard the last few weeks on their MAPs testing. As teachers, we are diligently analyzing the results of those tests. In grades 3rd-8th, we are also meeting with each student to set learning goals for the rest of the year. We will send home these test scores on February 26th for you to review. Please email your student's teacher(s) if you have any questions about your child's score.
Below are links to our updated school Blueprint, as well as our Health & Safety pages on our school website. The changes made were minor changes to reflect the mask policy and other staff safety items. Please feel free to review these documents!

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
