Portland Adventist Academy’s annual Alumni Reunion is taking place on the PAA campus May 5-7, 2023!
This year’s honor classes are:
‘43, ’48 (75-year), ‘53, ‘63, ‘73 (50-year), ‘83, ‘93, ‘98 (25-year), ‘03, ‘13, ‘18 (5-year)
The weekend’s activities include:
- Friday, May 5, 6 pm – Golden Agers & Friends Dinner, Library – Welcoming alumni from the ’50s and ’60s – For details, contact: Bob Winter ’53 at (503) 784-2614
- Sabbath, May 6, 10 am, Registration Opens; 10:30 am, Worship Service, including Roll Call, PAA Gym – Speaker: Pastor Jose Rojas
- Sabbath Lunch – Following the worship service in the Cafe/Gym for PAA Alumni & Friends (Lunch is free; donations appreciated)
- Sabbath, May 6, 2 pm – Class Reunion Meetings – classrooms and as planned
- Sabbath, May 6, 2:30 pm – PAA Q&A and Update, with Principal Mechelle Peinado

Our Sabbath worship service guest, Pastor Jose Rojas, is no stranger to the Oregon Conference. He was the 2020 Oregon Conference Camp Meeting speaker and has presented several times in Oregon.
Pastor Rojas, who grew up in the barrios of East LA, readily attests to how Adventist education profoundly shaped his life. He became an advisor to three US Presidents and led youth ministries for the North American Division. Today he leads an independent ministry.
