Majid* sensed God calling him to serve in full-time ministry. Without being sure how he would support himself or his family, Majid stopped his business by faith and began to commit his time to serving the Lord. Unexpectedly, Majid’s father gave him three shops as an inheritance. Even though Majid’s father is not friendly toward Christianity, Majid saw this as God’s provision for him. “Now I can rent those three stores. I am now free to serve the Lord full time,” he said.
Majid accepted an on-campus volunteer position to be among students so he could influence the future generation of his nation. He soon became disappointed that he didn’t know how to build a spiritual movement or make disciples. He heard about Cru’s disciples and multiplication and reached out to them. They began to train him and his wife. Very quickly Majid became a spiritual multiplier.
Majid and his wife have seen dozens of students invite Jesus into their lives and have taught them the fundamentals of following Christ, including how to share their faith with others. Pray as they continue full-time in North Africa and that God would give them favor with students and reach many for Christ.
