Norfolk House
Performs at
Bellevue Music Festival

On Friday 15th March, our Norfolk School Choir participated in Bellevue Music Festival at the Great Hall of Reading University. The two-hour concert featured school choirs from the Bellevue group performing their own repertoire as well as instrumental ensemble and solo performances. The Festival provided an opportunity for pupils and music departments to come together and, through their performances, to express their creativity and originality and inspire others.

Watch videos of their performances.

Form of The Week:
Form 6
Geography Focus Week

It has been a hectic yet successful term in Form 6. The whole of the form have achieved tremendous results in their external exams. They can all be very proud of the amount of work they put in during the revision period and this resulted in their level of results. There has been a lot of other exciting learning going on in Form 6. Read the short reviews.

By Kieran (Form 5E): At Geography Focus Week, the theme was the “Environment” and Form 5 looked at Saving Energy. In our group for Geography Week we did Dragon’s Den and made 3D models to show what energy they used in that century. My favourite was Dragon’s Den because we did drama and our names had the surname of a dragon, for example, “Matthew Jones”.
Book Club Share Their Book Reviews
Cross Country at Queenswood School

Book club meets every Friday to discuss our novel of choice. We talk about our reactions to the themes, language and characters and decide how much of the book to read for the following week. Some of us note down our ideas and reactions in our book club diaries. Watch a video of pupils from Book Club discussing their book reviews.

"And they were off!" Running, jogging, pacing and finally sprinting to the finish line! On Friday 8th March, pupils participated in a Cross Country event hosted by Norfolk House at Queenswood School. Eleven schools took part, with approximately 200 runners in total. The children performed exceptionally well considering the wet, cold and muddy conditions.

We had a visit from another little person before half term. Mrs Walzer came into school with Ruby, I'm sure you'll agree they are both looking very relaxed and happy. Motherhood certainly suits Mrs Walzer.
