Aaron from Year 4, was recently involved in filming a car commercial in Switzerland. He has shared his account of this experience:

"On Wednesday 26th of September I shot a TV commercial for Hyundai in Switzerland. We had to wake up at 5.30 am because the car was coming to pick us up for 7am...

Last year, the Student Council organised a Buddying Scheme where the children in Forms 5 and 6 were paired with one of our new Reception children. It was an overwhelming success which both Big Buddies and Little Buddies enjoyed and benefitted from immensely. This year we are continuing the popular scheme.

On Tuesday 9th October, Norfolk House held its annual Harvest Festival at St. Andrew’s Church. There were some lovely presentations and songs from the children as well as a thought-provoking talk from Fr. Tony Pybus. Harvest Festival provides us with an opportunity to broach the topic of food origins, as well as the sensitive topic of food shortage in our own and other countries.

Time has flown since the start of term and Form 6 have settled in well and are rising to the challenges placed before them. In history, Form 6 are currently studying ‘The Inter-War Years’, lookin at key events during 1918 and 1939, in PSHE they are learning about the body and puberty and in maths they understand the requirements of the curriculum at the top of the school.
