Our 25th Birthday celebrations continue...

Last month children and young people celebrated our 25th birthday with a Hawaiian themed party at our Advice Centre, which included Hawaiian food, mocktails, a piñata, the limbo, a treasure hunt, gifts and pottery painting. The beneficiaries of the charity also painted the walls of the No Limits Advice Centre with their handprints, leaving their mark on the building that sits at the heart of the charity.

Young people like Emma shared stories of their journey, and how No Limits has made a difference in their lives. Emma spoke of her story, explaining: "About a year ago I was kicked out [of home] and No Limits helped me to setup things like bank accounts, they helped me to setup my universal credit and I managed to order my birth certificate from here. Thanks to No Limits I am now living independently and I have been for just over a year now. Thank you to everyone who helped me."

Fair Ways treat young carers to a fun-filled day at Paulton's Day

The young carers, who are supported through No Limits' Young Carers in Southampton project, were able to meet with other young people with similar life experiences and enjoy time away from their responsibilities as a carer.

Life as an intern at No Limits

We've had some brilliant student interns join us from The University of Southampton this summer, including Izzy, who joined us as a Community Fundraising Intern for 3 weeks.

"Having volunteered part-time as a youth worker before coming to University, I could tell just how vital and skilful the delivery team are in engaging with young people...Summarising my experience, it has been incredibly confidence-boosting and a privilege to contribute to the charity in a small way. It has given me a brilliant insight into the third sector and the world of work that awaits me after my final year of University."
