No Limits awarded with funding to support lonely young people in Southampton
We're so excited to be 1 of 16 charities who have been awarded with funding from the Co-op Foundation, Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the National Lottery Community Fund to tackle youth loneliness amongst vulnerable young people in Southampton as part of the #iwill fund.
The new project is expected to support over 200 young people who suffer high levels of loneliness as a result of complex issues in their lives.
Annabel Hodgson, CEO at No Limits, said: “This is an exciting new project which tackles head on the rising problem of loneliness among young people. By inviting young people to take part in social action – be it fundraising, campaigning or volunteering – we are empowering them to make a change for themselves and others. I look forward to seeing how the young people grow in confidence as they take part in these activities.”
