MORE unexpected announcements!

... thanks to great partnerships ...

Well,  Dale and the team at Privateers Harley-Davidson have come through for us yet again.
We are absolutely thrilled that this year's raffle bike will be a
2016 Heritage Softail Classic
Whoever wins this bike could very well be the FIRST person in Atlantic Canada to have a 2016 model on the road!

That's the Wharf Rat Rally - a step ahead.
(Really, it's the late date of Labour Day this year that gives Privateers the time to get the bike off the August production line and into Digby in time for the draw on September 6th at around 9pm.)

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Rally or by calling 902.245.5924 during regular business hours (which are posted as 10am - 4pm, but you might find someone there as late as 8 o'clock at night). We also have them on our Rally Store. Have your credit card handy and we'll set aside your ticket stub for you to pick up at the Rally Headquarters.
The raffle bike will not be exactly as shown.
Our (your?) 2016 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic will be all black, with white wall tires.
Winner is responsible for insurance before ownership can be transferred.

Will one ticket be enough? That's a really sweet ride!
And the next great announcement ...

You've seen them at all the big US rallies
and now the Wharf Rat Rally is on the radar
of Twisted Tea.
And they're coming on in a big way!
  • Sponsoring the Sons of Anarchy appearances ...
  • Hosting a contest in NSLC stores from New Minas to Yarmouth and Bridgewater to Liverpool ... (Go in and fill out a ballot. And while you're there, buy some Twisted Tea to try at home before the Rally.)

And BEST YET!!

This huge bottle cut-out will be in Digby and if you take a photo of yourself with it, or in the Beer Garden with a can of Twisted Tea, and upload it, you have the chance to

BE ON THE LABEL of a complete run of Twisted Tea bottles and cans!

We've been guaranteed one of the photos from this year's Wharf Rat Rally will adorn their product!

Being a responsible company, there are some rules, so read them first. The main thing to remember is to not portray drinking and driving.

You'll be able to upload your photo online and then wait and watch to see if you're the chosen one!

Bonus! The Wharf Rat Rally will also have a photographer around town with the bottle to take your photo and submit it for you.
While you're in the beer tent enjoying the great musical lineup this year, why not try a Moosehead Light Radler?

What's a Radler, you ask? From Moosehead's website:

Way back in the day, it was invented as a bartender’s trick – mixing beer and juice together to slow down those who had lingered at the keg little too long.

But it turned out the beverage was super-tasty, and nicely refreshing.

By 1912, cyclists in Germany were clamouring for it as a post-exercise reward, and they named it after their conveyance of choice. “Rad,” a short version of “fahrrad,” means bike in German. A “radler” then, is the cyclist or bike rider.

In the 20’s, a Munich foodie named Franz Xaver Kugler became known for the drink, which mixed beer with soda or lemonade in equal measures.

We thought it was time to invent our own version – one just for the Maritimes.

What it boils down to is this: our Radler is 85 per cent beer.

And the remaining 15 per cent? That’s where the sunshine comes in. We took a whole bunch of real grapefruit juice and blended it with a little grape juice and a little lemon juice, until we got just the right flavour profile for a light, thirst-quenching summertime beverage.

A beer made especially for Maritimers who bike - how perfect is that?

Remember: you can stop in at the Old Orchard Inn at any time now to pick up your registration package. Please have your $10 in cash.

You can also get one at the Capitol Pub in Middleton or at the Annapolis Leather Barn outside Annapolis Royal. Again, please have cash.

Remember: check off only one prize choice: either the Ultimate Sturgis trip or the Honda Grom, and return the ballot to the seller.

Or stop into Headquarters - the packages are there now also. We can take cash, debit, Visa or Mastercard at HQ.

Once you have your package, you won't have to stop in at the registration tent on Warwick Street. Cool, eh?
Sons of Anarchy

We're happy to confirm the Twisted Tea Tent will be in the parking lot of Guy's Frenchy's. Thank you, Guy, for your great community support!
The pre-dinner reception tickets are sold out! But there are still $95 dinner tickets available.
Enjoy the stories and recollections of Kim Coates and Theo Rossi as they talk about their experiences on the set of the Sons of Anarchy.
Laugh and sing along with Bob Lambert.
Bid on great auction items to help local Digby charities and non-profits.

Be sure to register in order to get your item autographed by one of the actors at a Friday afternoon, Saturday morning or Saturday afternoon autograph session. (Limit two items per person.) A professional photographer will be available for photos - $20 each photo, cash please.

Watch the website for schedule updates.
