JULY 29, 2020
Hello my loves,

I am in the mountains. High up where the air is crystal and unsupportive of rigorous activity. It is quiet in a city horns or sirens or leaf blowers or busy neighbors but it is far from silent. The wind rushes through the pines and there are plenty of birds shouting at one another. Last night we saw a large black bear crouched beside the road and this morning there were proudly antlered deer (or perhaps they were elk) glimpsed through the trees. Chipmunks are everywhere, busy doing whatever it is chipmunks do and when we arrived there were a pair of Bald Eagles soaring over the lake. I've even managed to find time to catch a couple of trout.

I am well and truly blessed and today I am even aware of this. Awareness is the ultimate gift. It provides perspective and perspective provides space.

In moments such as these gratitude arises as inevitably as the sun rises. The Universe is in perfect order. The diseases continue, personal conflicts continue, hardships of every imaginable description continue and still there is Peace.

May it find you now!

With much love,

"The Man Of Understanding Lives His Life Like God."

"Whatever I decide and do in any situation, depends on two factors: my genes and conditioning, which God has made. Whatever action I do will, of course, have its consequences ? good, bad or indifferent ? as judged by society, which I have to accept."

"The fact remains, however, that I cannot make a mistake. I cannot commit a sin. Therefore I live like God, not afraid of living and not afraid of dying."

Saint Tukaram, perhaps the greatest exponent of Bhakti or devotion in Maharashtra, finally came to the conclusion that there is no separate “me” as an individual devotee.  Ramana Maharshi specifically stated that all other methods must ultimately lead to the method of the investigation of the Self.  Why do different people pursue different paths in the first place, and why are there some people just  not interested in any path or method?  Obviously because every supposed individual is at his own particular spot in the spiritual evolutionary scale of the Totality, progressing according to the Divine Design.

I love this zoom system.  It’s a life-line in an upside-down world.  I love to hear your voice - and after hearing the same thing for the 1,000th time, it still comes through new and astounding. This Teaching is so close and yet impossible to grasp.

Thank you for doing this.  This Teaching is a gentle home for the seeker.
