Digital library & services update | March 26, 2020
Downtime for our digital services

On Tuesday, March 31, and Wednesday, April 1, our IT team will be moving our catalog technologies and other online features to new servers. Once the project is complete, these technologies will be more secure and reliable to provide you with better access.

During this project, many features of the website will be intermittently unavailable, including the catalog, account information, and online payments. The Spokane County Libraries app and most of our resources found in the Digital Library will be intermittently unavailable as well, including Hoopla and Lynda.com.

We understand that this is an unfortunate time for any of our digital services to be down, even intermittently, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

You will still have access directly to the OverDrive website, OverDrive app, and Libby app, where you can continue to browse, place holds, and borrow eBooks and audiobooks.

Our digital resources for learning & recreation

Before and after the server move discussed above, you’ll find over 50 digital resources to help kids and adults learn and for recreation and entertainment in our Digital Library.

Study math, science, history, language arts, world languages, and more. Learn new technologies, a new world language, and the steps to switch careers. We’ve created a list of digital resources to help you explore the educational, enjoyable, and engaging possibilities.
