With gratitude and thanksgiving we can report a largely successful stewardship campaign, which was celebrated during Stewardship Sunday on November 24 with the blessing and dedication of our pledges and a celebratory luncheon put on by our youth and attended by more than 60 of our church family! We were blessed to receive 68 pledges, 17 of them increases over a household’s 2019 pledge and 11 from households that have never pledged before. Thanks to this faithful stewardship, we have in-hand $175,826 in annualized pledges—a bit more than 91% of our $192,736 goal.
In the spirit of our campaign theme, “A New Hope,” we are hopeful that those who have not yet returned their pledge cards will do so very soon to put us over the top. Your pledges help us plan for the upcoming fiscal year with a firm idea of the resources available to implement the programs, missions and ministries that are meaningful to you and that help define our role as disciples of Jesus Christ. If you have misplaced your pledge card, a new one can be obtained on the narthex lectern next to the prayer concern cards. Or just email or call the church office and we’ll get one to you!
