Several of you have reached out by phone, messenger and email to say that you received a spam email from Pastor Cheryl this morning. It is indeed spam and I thank you for letting me know it happened. I will report the false address to Google and hope that each of you will share with friends who might not see this email that it is false and should not send money.
It is always a good practice not to click on links in emails from sources you do not know. Of course, in this case, they were pretending to be me. Some of you were suspicious and wisely checked the address against the email you knew to be correct for me in the bulletin. Please be wise as serpents and careful about emails you receive if they appear strange. You are always welcome to reach out to me or to the office to verify the validity of anything that looks strange.
