VTSPC NEWS:
Suicide Prevention Advocacy Committee

Meeting date: Tuesday December 10th, 10:00 am-11:00 am
 
This Committee will plan Suicide Prevention Advocacy Day at the statehouse to be held mid-February.  We need Coalition members who are willing to help develop the theme and activities of the day, help with outreach and logistics.  We are also looking for organizations to co-sponsor the event.

This webinar, provide by the New England Public Health Training Center, will describe the intersection of firearm safety and suicide prevention and how public health and firearm advocates have worked together on this issue.

INPATIENT Organizational Self-study

 
SPRC has announced a NEW – Inpatient Organizational Self-study (OSS) designed for organizations with a primary focus on inpatient health and behavioral health care settings.  These may include more intensive levels of care such as partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient programs if those are managed under an inpatient organizational structure. This new tool was developed in partnership with UHS (Universal Health Services) and can be accessed at zerosuicide.sprc.org.
