Construction is slated to start on Sept. 3 on Wake Forest Road through the Mordecai Community!

The contractor is scheduled to begin work along the Wake Forest Road section of the project starting Sept. 3. The milling and paving work is scheduled to take place between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., and the signal and concrete work is expected to take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Weather permitting, the contractor is scheduled to take one week for milling and one week for paving. The milled surface will not be left open to traffic any longer than two weeks.

There are parking restrictions in place during construction. Please adhere to all temporary no-parking signs along the corridor.
