Please make plans to meet your neighbors and walk over to Halifax Community Center for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6.

The Mordecai CAC is hosting an ice cream social for National Night Out TONIGHT from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Halifax Community Center.

What to expect:
-Ice Cream (Howling Cow)
-Raleigh Police Department + K9s and Horses!
-Raleigh Fire Department- Fire truck! (hopefully)
-Games (Giant Jenga, Checkers, and Connect 4)
-Fun goodies to be handed out for adults and children
-PETANQUE CHAMPIONS will attend the event to demonstrate the fundamentals of the French Boules game, Petanque. Come out and learn a new activity for all ages!

**What to bring : yourself, your family, and your neighbors.
**Rain plan: If the weather is bad we will move inside the lobby of the community center and under the protected porch area.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. For more information about National Night Out, visit

The MCAC covers several downtown neighborhoods, including Historic Mordecai, Oakdale, Pilot Mill, East Mordecai, Capital Park, and part of Historic Oakwood (to Boundary).
